BLACKMORE END VILLAGE HALL
Built by Samuel Courtauld as a club for village residents in January 1926, situated in the picturesque village of Blackmore End, a short drive from Braintree and Halstead. The recently refurbished hall is now the heart of our village offering regular pub nights, quiz nights and many other events.
The hall is available to hire at modest rates for locals who wish to rent it out for children's birthday parties, events, parties or to run hobby or exercise classes. Facilities include small kitchen, modern toilets, disabled access to the hall and a car park.
BLACKMORE END
PLAYING FIELD
Backing onto the hall is the large village playing field, with children's play area, run by the Blackmore End Playing Field Committee in close association with the village hall committee. A registered charity, the BEPFC funds maintenance of the field, buildings and equipment by holding events and hiring the field out to interested parties.

Blackmore End Playing Field is home to Great Bradfords FC.
